**Reports to**: Fabrication Supervisor Production

**Position Summary**

Under the general direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, while demonstrating a commitment to quality, efficiency and accuracy, the Expeditor is responsible for accurately assembling and organizing work material with the use of detailed blueprints and drawings for multiple departments within the production plant.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Organize work material
- Assemble work orders
- Read blue prints & drawings accurately
- Prioritize work orders
- Follow verbal and written instructions

**Equipment Operated**
- Operate forklift
- Hand jack Non-computer controlled saws, drills and punches.
- Job Boss scanning technology.
- Various hand tools
- Various power tools

**Working Relationships**
- Identifies and reports shortages, issues or concerns Fabrication Supervisor
- Discusses productivity with Fabrication Supervisor, Lead Hand, Shift Supervisor
- Collaborates with fellow co-workers / team members

**Qualifications**
- Manitoba Grade 10 required
- Ability to read, write and speak English required
- Proficiency in reading drawings an asset
- Recent relevant experience in Metal fabrication preferred
- Knowledge of various metals an asset
- Ability to operate Fork lift /or experience an asset
- Physically fit, considerable standing, bending, reaching and lifting up to 50lbs
- Complete repetitive work
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to complete work assignments in a fast paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
