Buyer/logistics Coordinator

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Managing different categories of products within the cycle of RFQ, creating PO, monitoring On-time delivery to dealing with claims
- Maintaining cooperative supplier relationships with possibility of sourcing new suppliers
- Negotiating price, payment terms and delivery
- Reviewing and controlling product line and inventory levels
- Negotiating shipping container contracts and scheduling
- Prior to shipment ensure suppliers are complying with all packaging requirements
- Coordinate delivery of containers with trucking companies
- Research new items and categories

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Math or a relevant field.
- Experience with forecasting and procurement systems an asset as well as data processing, data quality control, data entry and verification
- Excellent computer skills and full proficiency with Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas including v-lookup) is required
- High level attention to detail, critical thinking, analytical, and capable of working in a rigorous environment consisting of a high volume of information and comparative analysis.
- Strong personality and excellent communication skills
