We have an opening for a full time Production Supervisor at our Calgary factory.

The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. The Production Supervisors primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of superior manufactured product to meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining a safe working environment and staff relationship conducive to productivity and efficiency.

**_Key Responsibilities_**
- Managing employee activities as well as materials and equipment resources to assure the delivery of a quality product.
- Review inventory purchasing requirements on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Ensure a safe working environment and addressing housekeeping issues relating to the premises and equipment.
- Administer employee relations in accordance with company policy.
- Motivate a diverse workforce to continuous improvement of production, quality and safety goals.
- Coordinate and encourage employee involvement in team building skills, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for minimizing scrap and maximizing efficiency and productivity.
- Responsible for assisting with production problems, ensuring tools and equipment are available.
- Requires enthusiasm, initiative, and effective judgment in fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Must be receptive to sudden and frequent changes in priorities.
- Other duties as may be required by Production Manager.

**_Requirements, skills and qualifications_**
- 3-5 years of proven supervisory experience
- Excellent people management and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written and must be fluent English
- Customer and results focused
- High school diploma
- minimum, College Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Pro-active individual capable of identifying problems, recommending solutions, and implementing corrective actions either individually or as part of a team.
