**Title**: Research Analyst
**Salary**: $66,597 - $83,246 - $91,571 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hrs Monday
- Friday, normal office hours 8:30am-4:30pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri
**Location**: Metro Vancouver Offices_ Park Royal -Hybrid, minimum 3 days in office (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).
**About the role**
As a Research Analyst, you will provide supports to the building of research capacity and collaborative partnerships with communities and research organizations. Maintains and strengthens interdepartmental support and information sharing across the organization as well as with health system partners. Offers technical and functional support to grant funded research projects. Ensures close communication and project coordination for research project teams.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Education & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a specialization in Public Health, Public Policy, Health Information Management/Sciences, Research Methods or Aboriginal/Indigenous Governance, plus 3-5 years of experience in research, analysis, grant writing and multi-jurisdictional partnerships or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- A Master’s degree would be an asset
- Key Skills & Experience
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, data analysis, and report writing
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and software R or NVivo, SPSS, SAS
- Strong skills in written and verbal communication, collaboration, and engagement
- Demonstrated experience in literature review and knowledge synthesis
- Experience working with First Nations/Aboriginal people in health is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
