Formula Solutions Inc. is currently hiring for the role of Quality Control Specialist in the Quality Department. Prior experience is not necessary but is considered an asset in this position. Training will be provided regardless of experience level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Works closely with manufacturing team to ensure quality requirements are understood to deliver on customer needs.
- Works on creating Acceptance Test Reports in accordance with Customer/Engineering requirements
- Creates Inspection Plan/Checklists per customer/Engineering requirements and conducts incoming inspection on materials per the checklists
- Conducts In-process Checks and Final Inspections by conducting visual and measurement tests for parts as per the ATR requirements
- Perform and document First Article Inspection (FAI) when applicable
- Raise NCRs when products are not meeting requirements and co-ordinate with respective functions for disposition and final closure of NCRs.
- Maintain MRB Room per disposition requirements and FSI procedures
- Keeps calibration of instruments up to date with customer/quality related frequencies and AS9100 requirements where applicable
- Understands the requirements of FSI QMS procedures and ensures compliance in Quality and related functions
- Works with manufacturing team to understand bottlenecks to quality and propose alternatives as necessary to meet demand.
- Strives for Continuous Improvement including looking at production efficiencies, lean manufacturing, and work to create a clean and organized workplace
- Other duties as applicable

Qualities needed:

- Attention to detail is vital
- Good documentation skills
- Suitable Communication Skills
- Good/Corrected Eyesight

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

- Post secondary diploma in a technical field
- ASQ Certification for Quality Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Reading and interpreting engineered drawings
- Ability to quickly learn new skills
- Previous experience in the aerospace industry is not necessary but is considered an asset
- Ability to work standard day, swing, or afternoon shifts
- Understanding of the principles of Lean Manufacturing

Additional Requirements
- Comfortable working with chemicals and other hazardous materials
- Ability to stand at a workstation for long periods of time

Compensation
- Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$73,000.00 per year
