We are currently seeking out 1 _AMAZING_ Supply Chain Coordinator for our operations.
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the supply chain operations of the Automotive department. As part of the Automotive Team the Supply Chain Coordinator manages inventory and supply sources, purchases material and supports manufacturing demands.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing procurement, scheduling, and shipping/receiving of inventory.
- Monitoring, reviewing and maintaining inventory levels.
- Preparing and issuing both internal and external purchase orders to support production and automotive sales.
- Scheduling and monitoring inbound/outbound ocean/air freight shipments.
- Interfacing with internal and external customers, including communicating with suppliers regarding order and delivery status to ensure smooth operation of the supply chain.
- Issuing production work orders and scheduling efficiently to maximize workflow.
- Creating and submitting customs documents (CUSMA), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Other administrative duties include: invoicing, creating product bar codes, updating internal forecasts, issuing Return Material Authorization (RMA), etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What gives you the edge:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 2+ years logistics/supply-chain experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in order to meet departmental needs, make effective decisions, and perform various tasks with changing priorities and deadlines in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively handle high pressure situations.
- Ability to work in and promote a team-oriented environment.
- Experienced in MS Office tools.
- Experience with EDI, MRP an asset.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
- Willingness to continuously learn.
