**Job Description**:

- As a member of our Hydrogeology and Hydrology team, you’ll join a group of professionals that include hydrogeologists and hydrologists, engineers, geochemists, surficial geologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, technologists, technicians and environmental scientists to work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment on multi-disciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities

**Specifically, you will**:

- Conduct hydrology, geomorphology, hydrogeology, water quality, fisheries and aquatic resources field programs in remote locations
- Conduct field data collection, entry, and organization
- Be responsible for managing and analyzing large and complex datasets
- Support the preparation of high-quality technical reports and proposals
- Project coordination
- Work collaboratively under the mentorship and supervision of senior and intermediate technical staff

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree related to environmental science, physical geography, earth sciences, environmental engineering, fisheries biology, or aquatic ecology. A graduate degree in related disciplines would be considered an asset.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience with water quality, hydrology, and groundwater field methods
- Proficiency with R, Python and/or a background in computer science and other applicable programming languages
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for fieldwork
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, as well as strong oral and written communication skills
- Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.), Engineer in Training (E.I.T.), Articling Agrologist (A.Ag.), Registered Biology Technologist (R.B.Tech.) or Applied Biology Technician (A.B.T.) in BC would be an asset
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Swiftwater training, ATV/UTV/Argo Safe Operations certifications are a strong asset.
