Assistant Manager/team Leader for Cheese Shop

We are looking for a motivated, happy and enthusiastic person to work in numerous aspects of our business including serving customers from behind the deli counters by assisting them in making decisions on which cheese/charcuterie to buy then cut/wrap their choices and cash them out. Other responsibilities will include stocking shelves, making cheese boards and gift baskets/boxes, making delicious grilled cheese sandwiches, receiving and unpacking deliveries and more.

As an assistant manager you will also have additional responsibilities on certain days when the owner is not there such as opening and closing the shop, overseeing one or two staff members and dealing with any customer concerns or issues that come up during your shift. Cheese knowledge is not mandatory (will train) but would be helpful. We will also and consider applicants who do not wish the added responsibility of managing. Could be a part time or a full time position. Must be available to work weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
