Our client, a leading manufacturer in electrical cable assemblies is looking for a Production Team Leader to join their team The Production Team Leader is responsible for management and supervision of the manufacturing shop floor including production output, efficiency, quality control, employee relations and maintenance. Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains best practice work and production standards. Assist with Production Planning and Scheduling Oversees, supports and mentors production employees to ensure compliance with standard operational, quality and working practices. Plans and organizes operations to determine priorities for manufacturing products. Ensures production targets and quality standards are maintained. Removes production constraints to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity. Responds to employee issues regarding production and quality issues. Maintains and supports a superior safety and housekeeping program. Encourages and promotes a continuous improvement environment. Communicates with other departments regarding product delivery status and requirements. Qualifications: Production Supervision/management experience in an electrical, electromechanical or electronics manufacturing environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, work flows and processes. Take‑charge individual with strong analytical and decision‑making skills. Highly motivated, results oriented, driven. Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills. Understanding of health and safety legislation, systems and policies.
