Due to rapid growth of our company, we need more talented Store Manager Trainee to join us and grow together. The Store Manager Trainee will report directly to the Head of Operations and be responsible for all general duties of store operation, customer services, sales, and management of all departments in the store.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Leading and growing a team of A-players
- Inspire others
- Grow a successful, multi-million-dollar business

**Operations Management**
- Meet and exceed personal and store sales goal and standard of performance
- Secure store operations, ensure Sungiven standards and best practices are followed through
- Conduct store meetings
- Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations.
- Plan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with schedules policy. Check to see if those responsibilities and assignments are carried through in the store
- Manage store’s inventory, waste, and other operating costs and participate in regular inventory management processes
- Proactively look beyond problems to develop solutions that maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the store
- Collaborate closely with Sales Team to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives, including marketing, operations, and customer service
- Demonstrate strong business ethic when dealing with employees, internal Sungiven Foods Canada departments and customers

**People Management**
- Supervise and manage employees according to the Employment Standards Act
- Assist the Human Resources Department to recruit, interview, and hire high caliber employees within store needs
- Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees
- Evaluating staff based on performance-based metrics and ensure that the Department’s expectation, standards, and goals are being met or exceeded
- Recognize talented staff and develop them from within the company
- Provide a fun, full-service experience to all employees and customers
- Understand the Company’s culture and demonstrate it to the team

**Customer Satisfaction**
- Provide and demonstrate excellent customer service through hands-on problem solving approaches
- Resolve customer issues effectively
- Hold team members accountable for providing excellent customer service and recognizes those who excel in it

**Training**
- Facilitate onboarding, training, and professional development for employees
- Ensure Sungiven’s Customer Service Standards are always trained to all staff on an ongoing basis for a customer centric environment
- Research ways to improve performance through training materials and coaching tools

**Others**
- Ad hoc projects assigned by Senior Management Team

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, and ability to stand for a long period
- Willingness to work a varied schedule of weekends, evenings, and early mornings.
- Loves healthy food and living a healthy lifestyle. Willing to learn about our product and willing to help our customers.

Pay: From $44,000.00 per year
