**Job Overview**
As a Mike's Communications Construction Labourer, you will support the installation and maintenance of telecommunication infrastructure such as the installation of pedestals, running fibre optic cables and underground conduits. The position involves physical labour, working outdoors and collaborating with various teams of skilled communications technicians.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks on the job site.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of structures, fixtures, and other construction elements as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- Valid class G driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
- Willingness to work 10 hours/day.
