We love made from scratch meals. Our meals are made for 60 children and staff daily. A thorough understanding of dietary needs such as allergies is required. Some training regarding allergies will be provided. Ability to cook independently from past knowledge and follow recipes is essential.

Child friendly meals such as pastas, casseroles, rice dishes, soups and sandwiches are all favourites.

You will be working mostly alone in the kitchen, so you must have good time management and be self motivated. We provide a morning snack (like a breakfast), lunch, and a hearty afternoon snack.

We are a team of passionate child care workers, working toward a common goal of helping children develop to their potential in a harmonious learning environment. Whole food meals are an integral part of our program.

Must be able to obtain a police clearance and food handling certificate.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food is handled and stored safely to maintain food safety standards.
- Assist in meal planning and preparation, considering the dietary needs of children.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Collaborate to serve meals efficiently.
- Obtain and maintain Food Handler Certification to comply with health regulations.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
