**Qualifications**:

- experience working as a real estate law clerk at an Ontario law firm;
- Dedication to providing excellent service to clients;
- Attention to detail;
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to take initiative and ownership and complete tasks independently when required;
- Ability to work well in a team with excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (Fluency in English is a requirement, additional languages considered an asset);
- Excellent judgment and common sense;
**Knowledge and skills**:

- Expertise in Teraview, LDD, PCLaw, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel;
- Some knowledge of LSO Rules and Real Estate Practice Guidelines, Land Titles Act, Planning Act, and other customary real estate regulations and laws;
- Ability to conduct and interpret title and off-title searches;
- Experience with the purchase, sale, and refinancing of residential properties;
- Experience in preparing accounts, ledgers, funds summaries and final reports;
- Draft correspondence to clients, purchasers, solicitors and financial institutions;
- Experience with all aspects of a closing, including scheduling, expediting items to meet deadlines, coordinate receipt of closing documents and funds, review/revise final closing documentation, conduct and verify final title search requirements and complete the registration of documentation (Teraview).

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
