**We are looking for an Assembly Worker. Training will be provided.**

**This is an hourly afternoon shift position working out of our Mississauga, ON location, working at least 44 hours weekly. **Hours are typically Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm-1:00 am, Fridays 3:00 pm-11:00 pm.**

Primary Function:
Perform assembly of elevator car operating panel by referencing related CAD schematics and drawings.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience in assembly work
- At least 1 year of Manufacturing experience (custom production or electrical)
- Read schematics and drawings
- Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform complex assemblies
- Medium to highly detail-oriented
- Experience with electrical fixtures component manufacturing preferred
- Able to lift up to 50lbs (assisted if needed)

Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

- Correctly identify components and accurately interpret assembly drawings.
- Assemble products within a specified period of time.
- Utilize manual hand and power tools efficiently.
- Effectively inspect assemblies visually and with designated measuring devices.
- Identify non-conformances.
- Complete shop records accurately.
- Demonstrate low absenteeism and punctuality.
- Communicate well with colleagues and team leader.
- Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs; may work in hot areas 15%, noise 5%.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
