IDM Youth Services Inc. has been providing therapeutic, all-inclusive, residential, group living facilities for youth in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development in Victoria, British Columbia since 2010. From its small beginnings to its current state, IDM has always dedicated superior care to the youth we serve.

We are currently looking for a full-time **Financial Department Manager** to join our team. The position is to support all resources and employees with payroll and financial coordination. This opportunity is Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm but may require some flexibility.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversees and supports financial department
- Generates complex payroll for both union and exempt employees
- Point of contact for all payroll and benefit questions
- Payroll account reconciliation
- Maintain all CRA, WCB, EHT, Union requirements and dues, MPP Source deductions and submissions and related resports
- Administration of group health and pension plans
- Work with executive team on all required financial issues and tasks
- Other related duties

**What we are looking for**:

- Must have strong and recent experience with Sage Payroll Processing and Excel data entry
- Management Experience
- Experience in Payroll and Benefit administration
- Preferred experience within a unionized environment
- Experience in an administrative/ office setting
- Experience adhering to strict policies and procedures
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to analyze situations and problem solve
- Advanced communication skills
- Adaptable
- Strong computer skills
- including Word, Excel, etc

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
