**Position Overview**
Full-Time | Edmonton, AB | On-site

Our operations are continuously growing in scale, geographic scope, and financial complexity. We are looking to add a team member that is passionate about accounting and excited to work in a fast-paced environment to help support our three working companies. This position is a full time, in-person position with a competitive compensation and benefits package, based in Edmonton, AB.
**(Some of) What You'll be Doing**
- Accounts Receivable such as creating monthly invoices, receipting payments, setting up payment information for customers and following up on outstanding payments
- Account Payable which includes entering and payment of operational invoices and Carrier invoices as well as remittance notification for Carrier payments
- Entering, reconciling and paying credit card statements and intercompany accounts
- Accurate handling of Government Remittances such as GST and tax installments
- Reconciling insurance carrier premium invoices with employer clients’ monthly billings
**What You'll Bring**
- Great attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with an aptitude for prioritizing
- The ability to work well in a team environment and establish strong collaborative working relationships
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills together with effective communication skills
**Would Love for You to Have**
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or other related field
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is considered an asset but not required
