- Previous experience in similar role, familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Problem solving skills and Communication skills

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Managing food and beverage inventory, Tracking food wastage
- Seeking ways to improve operations & processes
- Maintain standards for kitchen cleanliness & ensuring consistency of cleaning schedules, ensure proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure proper operations
- Prep and set up of workstations and equipment
- Cook breakfast and lunch dishes with various utensils and cooking equipment
- Ensure all food/other items are properly stored and food is cooked with standards and in timely manner

**Skill Sets Required**:

- Knowledge of the food and beverage industry
- Strong understanding of culinary procedures & standards
- Ability to work independently & as a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome immediate issues
- Knowledge needed for organizing and planning staff, inventory & costs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
