This Position reports to:
Manufacturing Unit Manager
**Your Role: Own the Challenge**
The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for creating competitive quote proposals and processing incoming customer orders for production. Additionally, they serve as the direct point of contact for our customers, providing guidance on all technical-related questions. This position requires sharp attention to detail and strong communication with internal and external partners to drive successful sales outcomes while following corporate guidelines and policies. The Technical Sales Specialist will report to the Sales Manager.
The work model for the role is onsite, at the Pointe-Claire location, and the role is contributing to the Installation Products division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Actively searching for new business opportunities to support growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve budget and sales objectives.
- Travel to customer sites for business purposes.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals that meet technical specifications and customer requirements, with clear documentation and detailed cost information.
- Managing all steps of the proposal phase, including follow-ups and price negotiations with customers.
- Processing and coordinating incoming orders.
- Building and strengthening positive customer relationships.
**What it takes to run what runs the world**
- Bachelor’s degree (with 3+ years related experience preferred).
- Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across departments to achieve business goals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Cooperative, solution-oriented approach with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in both spoken and written French and English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
