**Stz’uminus First Nation is seeking 2 Bus Drivers for our Community Shuttle Bus Service starting June 24/24**

**Driver’s will be responsible for transporting Community members around the nation and out to the Oyster**
**Bay Bus stop to connect with bus Service to Duncan, Ladysmith and Nanaimo**

**The pilot project will be Monday to Saturday, depending on ridership. It will be a set schedule for pick up at**
**specific locations that will have a Community Bus Shuttle bus sign at the location. This is not door to door.**

**The 2 main driving positions can drive up to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week at $30/hr with Benefits after 3**
**months of probationary period. The shift will vary from 06:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday and may change**
**depending on ridership. The third position will be 6-8 hour, driving the Saturday route 08:00 -13:00 and also**
**includes cleaning the bus clean the bus inside and out thoroughly 13:00-16:00. This position will also include**
**casual or on call shifts that the regular drivers can’t cover. It will be the same $30/hr but no benefits.**

**Job Qualifications Required**:

- **Valid class 4 or higher Driver’s License and knowledge of operating a wheelchair lift**
- **First aid**:

- **Recent medical exam and Drivers abstract within 2 years.**:

- **Recent criminal record check**:

- **Be reliable and punctual and be able to physically assist passengers on an off bus**:

- **Work well independently and with others in a team environment**:

- **Honest respectful and patient to maintain Bus Schedules**:

- **Enforce bus regulations and respectful passenger management**:

- **Making sure bus is always in a hygienic condition in and out**:

- **Daily Pre and post trip safety Inspection, Liaison between Community Manager for Maintenance of**
**vehicle
