**Electromechanical Technician,** reporting to the
**Facilities Manager, **you will be responsible for installing and repairing industrial electronic equipment including variable speed drives, PLC equipment, process control systems, and a wide variety of automated control systems ranging from simple on-off control to robotics.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for electrical mechanical repairs, installations and maintenance
- Troubleshoots with production / engineering electrical programs (PLC)
- Updating communication equipment for machinery
- Repairs and installs PC boards
- Responding to various maintenance requests
- Works with sub contractors to maintain equipment
- Making recommendations for new maintenance products and equipment as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing systems in day to day tasks for the job
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
- Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and be able to prioritize important work
- Ability to communicate any issues or problems to upper management while also being able to work with other staff members to get a particular job completed
- Ability to work in various different areas of the building and perform many different functions to keep the building in good standing order
- Good Knowledge of CMMS maintenance software
- Certification of First Aid training
- Able to read and understand drawings and schematics
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices
- Bilingual (French, English)
