We’re building the future of intelligent kitchen technology and are seeking a hands-on **Electronics Technician** to join our R&D and production team in Montréal.
**About the Role**
As an **Electronics Technician**, you will work closely with engineers and assembly specialists to build, test, and improve advanced electronic and electromechanical systems. You’ll be directly involved in prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and integration of smart cooking units, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability across all builds.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical components for prototype and production units.
- Build wiring harnesses and circuit assemblies according to schematics and engineering drawings.
- Calibrate, adjust, and verify circuits and sensors for accuracy and reliability.
- Support mechanical integration and system assembly of smart cooking devices.
- Conduct functional and performance tests, record data, and generate technical reports.
- Recommend improvements to designs, layouts, and component selections.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on design validation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain organized records of test results and configuration changes.
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
Diploma or degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
**Experience**:
- Minimum 1 year in electronics production, prototyping, or development.
- Experience with sensors, control boards, or embedded systems is an asset.
- Mechanical assembly or integration experience is **highly desirable**.
**Skills**:
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience in soldering SMT components.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test equipment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and hand tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- **Cooking experience** or familiarity with kitchen appliances is a strong asset (but not mandatory).

On-site position in Montréal (no remote work).

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
