**In a typical day, YOU will**:

- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using Caterpillar testing equipment
- Repair and service Caterpillar and all heavy equipment within the established standards
- Prepare accurate service and repair reports in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer relations through frequent communication
- Undertake assignments as required in support of customer needs

**Must-haves for this role**:

- Post Secondary education in a field related to heavy equipment mechanics, truck and coach mechanics, diesel engine mechanics or a related mechanical field
- Minimum 2+ years of working experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy engine equipment
- Red Seal license (421A or 310T an asset)
- Valid drivers license
