**Duties and responsibilities**
- Perform daily voyage monitoring routines (monitoring of alerts, monitoring of vessel performance dashboards, monitoring of speed, weather, and congestion conditions)
- Participate in daily operational and commercial meetings and collaborate with business departments
- Formulate recommendations to improve vessel operations
- Develop tools and processes to help with the monitoring routines
- Work on continuous improvement projects to improve the voyage performance
- Collaborate with Financial Planning Analysts to assess and record impacts of monitoring adjustments made to the fleet
- Perform data analysis tasks and design models to solve business problems.

**Qualification and skills**
- A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information System, Computer Science, or another related field
- Solid computer skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization skills. Good knowledge of Excel (VBA an asset) and PowerBI
- Knowledge of statistical / analysis tools (Python, R) an asset
- Knowledge of data management
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Programming skills (SQL, R, Python, VBA, etc.)
- Data visualization skills (Power BI, Cognos, etc.) are an asset
- Bases in GIS (ESRI, QGIS) an asset
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Business acumen and technology savvy
- Curious
- Strong presentation and synthesizing skills
- Ability to work autonomously and/or in a group setting as required
