**Job description**

**Position**:
Reports to and takes direction from Events Manager or Food and Beverage Director. Focus is to set up and take down equipment in areas set for events according to floor plan and function sheets. Support day to day food and beverage operation.

**Duties**:

- Knows how to follow along and read a function sheet
- Delivery of equipment, furniture and fixtures needed for event set up
- Take down and put back to correct place of all items moved for such event
- Set up a variety of events from luncheons, weddings, receptions and tournaments
- Required to move and relocate a variety of items:

- tables and chairs
- stages and dance floors
- coolers
- garbage cans
- linens
- skirting
- Prepare and maintain water service for all meetings and events
- Clean up and general tidiness of event
- General clean-up of restaurant in busy times as support
- Carrying heavy trays to larger tables for servers
- Organizing and putting away liquor, and pop orders, following the FIFO method.
- Taking stock to our on course comfort stations, which includes but is not limited to food, beverage, and supplies
- Shifting around patio furniture when needed
- Maintaining a cheerful attitude towards members, guests and all staff
- Performs additional related duties as assigned

**Health and Safety**:

- Able to lift and maneuver heavy items
- Practice safe and effective methods of work (lifting with your knees, using tools to assist with heavier items)
- Cleaning and organizing Function rooms

**Teamwork and Communication**
- Helping everyone on your team with any job they need accomplished
- Maintaining good communication with peers, Supervisors and Managers
- Follows direction well, communicates problems as best in the interest of the client
- Lets pride show in your work and with guests and peers

**Skills Required**:

- Must be able to perform full body motions in order to lift, sweep, mop, climb ladders, move furniture and supplies
- Customer service experience
- Able to read and follow written and oral instructions
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
