Cobourg, Canada Community Solutions Limited Full time

Direct Support Worker needed part time to support our male client with ABI in his home and throughout the Cobourg community. No personal care is required.

This role would be best for someone who is reliable, patient, with a good sense of humour. Time spent with our client will include chats, errands, playing games, neighbourhood walks, appointments, visiting local shops and restaurants, community events, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Community support experience.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID -19.
- Must have a valid full G Driver’s License with reliable vehicle to travel throughout the community.
- Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
- Be comfortable in a farming environment.
- Be flexible, have strong communication skills, and possess a willingness to learn - ongoing training provided.

**Hours**:

- The 6 hours per week for this role, (days & times TBD), plus travel time to and from client’s home, and mileage will be paid when driving client around town.
