The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Senior Visual Merchandising manager, as well as supporting the VM team in the areas of administration, maintenance, merchandising and graphic design.
**What **You’ll** Do**:
**Adm**inistrative Support**:
- Update excel assortments and price lists-
- Support with completing mock ups of VM updates via Adobe Illustrator-
- Support with drafting graphic orders to graphic vendor for visual merchandising updates-
- Write and manage the VM instruction booklets for all retailers using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop-
- Create kitting / shipping lists for each visual merchandising update by store type for graphic vendor-
- Send tester orders for new doors to Operations team for VM updates-
- Update and maintain master store lists; ensuring all data is accurate and up to date-
- Record functionality of design / assortment feedback from stores and regional account managers-
- Shipping and receiving supplies, samples, and merchandising items to and from office***Maintenance**- Manage maintenance program and communication for all retailers with vendors-
- Update all maintenance and graphic order forms for Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM)-
- Support with maintenance orders placed by regional account managers (RAMS) to vendors by:- supplying tracking to regional account managers once orders have shipped-
- providing vendor with PO numbers for small orders-
- Code all maintenance related invoices-
- Support all maintenance requests for the boutique and schedule all repairs as needed**Merchandising**- Support regional account managers with in-store visual merchandising updates within SDM stores across the GTA-
- Maintain organized and up to date visual merchandising displays within the Benefit Canada Head Office-
- Support and execute VM updates for Benefit Boutique-
- Support VM Manager and SDM Account Manager with design and project planning support of SDM Till points**Graphic design**- Support Benefit Graphic Designers when needed to VM update graphics**Qualification**s**:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing and/or Merchandising or related field-
- Basic knowledge of Adobe creative suite (photoshop / illustrator / InDesign)-
- Proficient with Microsoft Office-
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail-
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal)-
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment-
- Physically able to work on your feet for up to 4 hours and be lift up to 20lbs in order to complete VM updates.-
- Experience in office environment considered an asset-
