Reporting to the Sr. Manger, Retail Design & Visual, the** Visual Merchandising Coordinator** is responsible for supporting the execution of visual merchandising strategies across brick-and-mortar stores. This role involves coordinating visual displays, assisting with store layouts and communications, and ensuring that the presentation of merchandise aligns with the brand’s standards. The Visual Merchandising Coordinator will work closely with the department manager and store teams to create an engaging and visually appealing shopping environment.
**Responsibilities**:
**Visual Merchandising Execution**:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of visual merchandising displays, including windows, in-store product placement, and seasonal setups.
- Collaborate with department manager to develop and execute display strategies for new product launches and promotional events.
- Validate stores visual executions align with brand guidelines and enhances the customer experience.
- Maintain the overall appearance of store displays at flagship location & Store Support Centre mock store; ensuring they are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Management of product samples and visual tools.
**Store Pre-sets & Layout Coordination**:
- Assist with the planning and execution of store visual pre-sets & bi-weekly layouts.
- Coordinate the placement of fixtures, signage, and merchandise to optimize store flow and customer engagement.
- Ensure that store layouts are consistent with the brand’s visual standards and guidelines.
**Reporting and Documentation**:
- Bi-Weekly development and deployment of store visual communications.
- Document and photograph visual merchandising displays for reference and reporting purposes.
- Prepare and submit reports on visual merchandising activities and outcomes to department Manager.
- Assist in the development of visual merchandising guidelines and training materials.
**Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with DSM & store teams to implement visual merchandising plans and provide support during setup and execution.
- Provide training and guidance to DSM & store teams on visual merchandising best practices.
- Communicate effectively with department Manager and company stakeholders to ensure alignment on visual presentation goals and initiatives.
**Inventory Management**:
- Monitor and manage visual presentation inventory, including props, signage, and display materials.
- Coordinate the timely deliveries and installation of visual merchandising elements.
- Ensure that all visual merchandising materials are stored and maintained properly.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in visual merchandising or a related role.
- Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail.
- Proficiency in visual merchandising software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in the retail industry, particularly in a fashion or home decor setting.
- Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
- Must have G license and vehicle with flexibility & ability to travel to store locations as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry weighted items and safely work from ladders or elevated platforms, as required by the tasks associated with the role.
