**Forest Resource Inventory Manager**:
Location: Salmon Arm, B.C. situated on Shuswap Lake in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. This is an ideal location for those who prefer a small town atmosphere, close to larger centres, with abundant recreational opportunities.

The responsibilities of the Resource Inventory Forester / Manager will be to lead in the development of innovative resource inventory methods for forest vegetation, ecosystems, habitat, terrain, water resources, visual sensitivity and other non-timber values. The Inventory Forester will assist in developing, designing, budgeting and implementing resource inventory projects. He/she will serve as a team specialist on multi-disciplinary projects along with other resource professionals and mapping specialists; train and lead inventory staff, and assist with corporate business development. The Inventory Forester will work with clients to solve operational issues and assist clients in resource negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Masters Degree in biometrics or allied science with 5+ years of forest resource inventory experience, or
- Bachelors Degree in forestry with 10+ years of resource inventory experience
- Registered Professional Forester (or eligible for registration) in B.C.
- Experienced in the use of remote sensing technology for forest inventories
- Experience in project management and leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Certification for Vegetation Inventories in BC, AB or Ont.
