**Hello,**
**The Beacon Harbourside Restaurant is looking for an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef will be in charge of leading the kitchen team as well as reporting to upper management.**

**Duties of the Executive Chef are, but not limited to**:

- Hiring and training new staff
- Building a menu based on the needs of the restaurant
- Ordering for the menu (produce, proteins, dry goods etc)
- Scheduling the staff according to the daily sales
- Monitoring inventory
- Reporting to the owners of the restaurant
- Participating in managers meetings

**Qualifications are**:

- 5 years experience in a chef/supervisory role of the same caliber of casual fine dining
- Provincial Food Handlers
- Must currently reside in the Niagara or Hamilton Region
- Must have a vehicle with a valid drivers license
- A cooking demonstration may or may not be requested to show the background of the chefs experience
- Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, overtime and holidays

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 5 years (preferred)
