We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and driven Sales Account Manager to join our team In this role, you will oversee our residential book of business in the Greater Toronto Area, fostering demand for our innovative insulation products through key dealer partnerships. You’ll play a vital role in building strong relationships with building yards, specialty dealers, contractors, the design community, and local associations.

**Role overview**:
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, driving business opportunities through existing relationships and identifying new prospects to expand the company's customer base. As an integral member of the sales team, the Account Manager works to facilitate training, provide exceptional customer service, solve client challenges, and grow revenues across all product lines within specified industries.
**What you will do**:
- **Account Development & Growth**: Identify and acquire new residential specialty and building yard accounts through networking, marketing efforts, and lead generation strategies. Build strong relationships with existing accounts to forecast needs, drive repeat business, and identify growth opportunities.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving escalated issues, and providing tailored solutions to meet client challenges. Review customer performance annually to determine renewal or nurture status, focusing on retention and growth strategies.
- **Customer Support & Solutions**: Act as a liaison for customers to develop solutions, improve processes, and address related concerns. Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**: Generate and manage quotes and proposals for new and existing accounts, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline lead management and content activation, ensure timely delivery, and support ongoing projects to meet customer requirements.
- **CRM & Reporting**: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer activity and communication in the CRM system. Provide insights and reports on customer engagement and sales performance.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with customer service, and production teams to address operational issues, improve processes, and align on strategic goals. Work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging content and campaigns that drive customer engagement and product awareness.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Proven experience in the building materials and/or packaging sectors.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers and internal teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and margin goals.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with QMS (Quality Management System) as it relates to this role.
- Established relationships within the residential construction marketplace are considered an asset
