Having been in the business for over 35 years, W.C. Burgess is a trusted presence in the Brockville community with a long-standing history and track record of success. We get that flexibility is important to you so this role is available for hybrid work but if you would prefer to be in the office we are open to that too as we currently support both models with our team.

**So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?**

Working as part of a team, actively service, maintain, and help grow a personal lines book of business. More specifically:

- Your focus will be to service an assigned book with the option to also earn additional commission for any new business sales you bring to W.C. Burgess.
- Manage all aspects of the customer life cycle from quote to renewal, endorsements, remarket and cancellations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of risk and underwriting information to ensure accuracy and optimal insurance solutions for your clients; they are looking to you to be their trusted advisor to make sure they have the right protection for their unique needs.
- Take new claim reports, help clients navigate through this process with empathy, and submit them to the insurance carrier
- Diligent follow up on clients’ accounts to ensure outstanding activities are resolved.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- Must be RIBO licensed.
- Minimum 1 year Personal Lines Broker experience.
- Proven track record servicing an assigned book of business.
- Remain current and develop expertise in assigned markets, staying open to new market opportunities.
- Working knowledge of PowerBroker or EPIC & Applied Rating Services is an asset.
