In this role you will be providing support to our broker team with back-end processing and help to ensure our amazing clients are looked after.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start and grow their career in insurance and has or is willing to get their RIBO license. This role is in-office position in the Brockville, ON office (5 days per week in office).

**So, What Will You Spend Your Days Doing?**
- Responsible for reception duties including greeting clients, answering phones, mail/courier, equipment and supply orders.
- Scan all incoming mail/documents according to company procedures, ensure accurate record keeping and accessibility.
- Monitor and assign downloads and edocs to the broker team.
- Enter all assigned new business in carrier portals, ensuring accurate submission.
- Collaborate with insurance carrier carriers to process and submit change requests ensuring all documentation is complete and systems are updated accordingly.
- Proactively follow up with clients and carriers to address missing information or documentation.
- Maintain and enter accurate and up-to-date client and policy information in the system, troubleshooting discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with pre-renewal preparation, preparing letters, certificates, etc.
- Stay informed about carrier offerings, product updates, and procedural changes to provide accurate information and support.
- Remove MVR information from cancelled auto files as per Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

**Requirements**:

- RIBO license or willing to obtain it.
- Previous experience working in an insurance brokerage is a benefit.
- Office and data entry experience where attention to detail is paramount.
- Prior working experience with PowerBroker is an asset.
