**Responsibilities**:
As a Mobile Mental Health Crisis Support Team Member, you will be responsible for:
Rapid Response: Responding to mental health crisis calls and situations promptly and efficiently.

Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate support and de-escalation techniques to individuals in crisis.

Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments of the individual's mental health needs and safety concerns.

Safety Planning: Developing safety plans and identifying appropriate resources to support the individual during and after the crisis.

Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other mental health professionals, emergency services, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive care.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of crisis interventions and services provided.

Follow-Up: Providing follow-up support and referrals to appropriate services as needed.

Training: Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance crisis intervention skills and knowledge.

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 of experience in crisis intervention or mental health support.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mental health crisis management and best practices.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with individuals in crisis, their families, and other professionals.

Empathy: Demonstrated empathy and compassion in providing support to individuals in distress.

Crisis De-escalation: Ability to use de-escalation techniques to defuse high-stress situations.

Flexibility: Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including on-call and irregular hours.

Driver's License: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile crisis response.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
