The Logistics Coordinator will manage, schedule, and coordinate the shipment/cross docking/warehousing of freight. A key component of of this position is liaising with all parties to communicate load requirements, delivery information, scheduling of appointments, as well as, the continual monitoring of carriers compliance.

**Job Description**:

- Negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs
- Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to address load specification and meet customs and insurance requirements.
- Liaise between carrier, warehouse and customer to ensure timely delivery
- Respond to tracing calls from customers, notify customer of any delays
- Primary point of contact for customers, customer support and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues by working with the carrier and customer
- Ensure proper invoicing and costing for shipments
- Outstanding networking skills and rapport to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Order entry, invoicing, filing and additional documentation as required

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in logistics coordination, warehouse distribution, or materials management
- Familiarity with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations
- Strong data analysis skills to optimize logistics processes
