We're on the lookout for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a vital role in our accounting department, contributing to the month-end closing process and external reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Validate and process invoices for goods and services.

2. Ensure transactions align with financial policies and secure approvals for payments.

3. Enter invoice batches into the system accurately.

4. Oversee weekly cheque disbursements.

5. Prepare vendor cheques for mailing or wiring.

6. Maintain organized filing systems for records.

7. Manage vendor records within the system.

8. Collaborate with accounting staff for month-end closing and GST reporting.

**Qualifications**:
1. Completion of a Community College program or a minimum of 2 years of professional office experience.

2. At least 6 months of experience in accounts payable.

3. Proficient in professional business English, both written and spoken.

4. Strong typing skills and intermediate computer proficiency.

5. Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quick books and accounting software (Salesforce).

**Requirements**:
1. Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.

2. Effective written communication skills.

3. MS Office proficiency, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.

4. Demonstrated work ethic and ability to thrive in a small team environment.

5. Exceptional ability to manage tasks independently.

6. Positive interpersonal skills and a customer-centric attitude.

**Schedule**: 44 hours a week Monday - Friday

Competitive salary ranging from $19.50 to $21.50 per hour.

**Experience**:

2. Accounting: 1 year (required)
