**Position Summary**:
The incumbent is a Registered Dietitian responsible for planning, coordinating and managing patient food services including master menu planning and implementation through the use of our food service management software system (CBORD), across three campuses under the direction of the Director Nutrition & Food Services and Environmental Services. The incumbent manages the Diet Office and dietetic technicians, coordinating and integrating clinical and administrative aspects of dietetics to ensure high quality, efficient delivery of patient food services within budget allocation. This position supports the food services supervisory team and purchasing coordinator activities. The incumbent collaborates with the Dietetic Education Lead for the Dietetic practicum-training program, educates, supervises and facilitates learning for students during their food service management rotation. The incumbent serves as a liaison between clinical managers/nursing and Food Services as needed.

Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.

**Position Requirements**:

- Completion of Bachelor’s Degree program in Dietetics or recognized equivalent
- Registered Dietitian
- Active Membership in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- 3 to 5 years proven leadership and experience managing a patient food services operation in a healthcare institution
- Safe food handlers Certificate
- Effective communication skills
- Self-directed, strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with a variety of stakeholders and team members
- Good computer skills
- Good attendance record.
