**Job Overview**

**Duties**
As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Providing compassionate care to individuals with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring proper documentation of medication administration.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Supporting clients in hospice care by offering emotional support and companionship during challenging times.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in patient care, home care, or similar roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments is advantageous.
- Skills in meal preparation and an understanding of dietary needs for various health conditions.
- A background in medication administration and knowledge of safety protocols related to patient care.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate nature with the ability to provide emotional support to clients facing health challenges.
