Raincity Installations is one of the largest cabinet installation companies in the Lower Mainland. We are currently hiring a Finishing Carpenter to install kitchen cabinets on new high rise towers in the Lower Mainland. We have towers in Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond and New Westminster. We have an extensive crew of installers and apprentices and looking to expand the team.

Our company has contracts booked long term (3 years plus). Our work environment is team focused and we value the contributions of our staff. We have a diverse team of installers and apprentices from all different backgrounds and take pride in our fair and equal opportunity approach.

The position:
You will be required to install kitchen and vanity cabinets with confidence and to a high standard while maintaining a professional attitude.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years finishing carpentry and/or cabinet installation experience (preferred)
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Clean, professional and reliable.
- The applicant is required to have basic cabinet installation tools including drills, laser and levels, all other tools and fixings will be provided on each site.
- Must have an eye for detail and able to work in a fast paced environment but produce quality work.
- Experience installing European kitchens considered an asset.
- Have own transportation, some sites are near Sky Train stations.
- PPE is mandatory, i.e. hard hat, hi-vis vest and boots.
- Problem solving skills.
- Motivated and take instructions from Leadhand/Foreman. Works well in a team and is solutions oriented and takes initiative to get the work completed on time. Takes ownership of their role and looks for areas to improve

We offer competitive rates from $27 - $37 per hour depending on experience.

Must be available to start as soon as possible.

No subcontractors please, this is an employed position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
