Our Vancouver locations are currently seeking full time and part time _**bakers**_.

**Job description**

**Preferred but not necessary**:
1 YEAR minimum experience in baking industry or food production is an asset.

**Additional Skills (preferred but willing to train)**:

- Prepare and bake specialty foods
- Familiar with baking terms and baking theory
- Ability to troubleshoot or identify problems in the bakery
- Must be able to lift up to 25kg of weight
- Can stand for long periods of times
- Works well in a team and able to cooperate with co-workers
- Possesses good time management skills and can multi-task
- Can work in hotter temperatures and fast paced environment
- **Punctual**:

- Solid communication skills
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset. REQUIRED FOR FUTURE ADVANCEMENT
- Currently resides in commutable location to work**NOT A SEASONAL POSITION**

**Baker Responsibilities**
- Baking
- Assisting opening and closing store
- Scaling of ingredients, stocking and preparing packaging, supplies
- Customer Service
- Cleaning and Maintenance of bakery
- Inventory control

**Baker Availability**
- Minimum 5 days, 40 hours per week for full time positions.
- As early as 7:30 am or as late as 9.30pm
- Available to work statutory holidays
- At least 1 closing shift per week
- At least 1 weekend shift per week (Saturday or Sunday)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
