**Position Summary**:
The Project Manager is responsible for coordination of activities between the engineering and Business Development activities for Gripblock. This individual will own the process, and coordination efforts from concept through sample design and distribution. This is an internal and external facing; individual contributor roll that requires a high level of communication and organizational skills.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible and accountable for establishing and executing best practices PMO methodology in developing project plan to meet stakeholders and customers’ needs to deliver on desired outcomes.
- Partner with R&D, engineering, sales and operations to define scope and objectives for internal and external projects. External projects will involve activity with current and prospective Licensees, customers and R&D partners/consultants.
- Develop and manage clear and concise progress and management reports.
- Evaluates and resolves technical feasibility, design optimization, and production issues as an extension of the engineering teams.
- Ensure customer involvement and communication to all concerned parties on project milestones, status updates and project changes.
- Manage customer expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them.
- Collaborates with marketing to ensure accurate promotional literature that match product specifications and value propositions.
- Researches and monitors existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities. Active participation on market research and sizing.
- Supports other Nucap Industries product initiatives, as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, preferable engineering and/or architectural design background
- 5-10 years of engineering and project management experience
- Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, report and presentation skills
- Extremely detailed oriented and organized, ability to manage Quarterly reviews with partners, customers and stakeholders
- Participate as required at trade show and industry events
- Exceptional time management skills
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Self-driven and able to work with a lot of autonomy
- Must be able to adapt quickly in an ever-changing industry.
- Ability to drive projects to the next level of execution to achieve project and business goals
- Strong analytical, problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, and independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to be innovative and creative (‘outside the box’ thinking)
- Ideally, has the ability to conceptualize design of different types of gripblock structures for the marketplace.
