Our signature spaces, events, programmes, and teams serve to act as a connection point for Western students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as for external businesses, government, and organizations. **Responsibilities**: PURPOSE OF ROLE: The Rec Facility Attendant is as ambassador of our outdoor turf facilities consisting of the Stadium, Mustangs & Alumni Field alongside Thompson Recreation Athletic Centre. The goal is to assist all users in accessing, safely utilizing, and educating on the various means of use of the stadium including the track and two outdoors turf fields - Mustangs and Alumni Field & TRAC. As the operators of the facilities, the Rec Facility Attendant must be knowledgeable of the features and security of the facility in order serve and welcome all guests and foster a safe and equitable space for all. Daily, this role will serve to provide superior service, build strong relationships, and ensure operational excellence in order to enhance the user's experience. All Rec Facility Attendants will be a key contributor in cultivating a sense of community that is supportive of building a thriving and equitable campus. This role will support the University’s mission to build an equitable and thriving campus by fostering inclusivity and ensuring the space and events held in those spaces meet the holistic needs of the community.
