**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for general facility maintenance, equipment installation, preventive maintenance & facility cleanliness at both plants
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility equipment
- Address and repair any issues related to building infrastructure, such as lighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Maintain a safe working environment by following established safety procedures
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders promptly and efficiently. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks
- Work closely with other departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure mínimal disruption to facility operations

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in facilities maintenance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured
- Forklift truck and material handling experience an asset
- Mechanical aptitude to help understand how to operate machinery and complete minor repairs
- Familiar with MS Office software and basic computer use
- Safety first mindset
