**WHAT SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE**:

- Welcome and connect with every customer to provide excellent service.
- Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Assist customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages, whole bean and merchandise sales.
- Respond to customer needs and thank every customer.
- Maintain customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
- Demonstrate “just say yes” behaviour when taking care of customer needs.
- Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks, blended beverages and Coffee of the Day as per Starbucks standards.
- Perform daily tasks in accordance with the Duty Rosters and cleaning standards.
- Present one self professionally and demonstrate clear communication by using
- Star Skills with all customers and partner interactions.
- Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products.
- Perform equipment maintenance.
- Follow all Marriott and store policies and procedures.
- Learn and demonstrate Creating the Starbucks Experience.
- Learn and demonstrate all performance standards
- Ensure all areas of Starbucks service are kept clean and organized.
- Other reasonable requests

**YOUR EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES SHOULD INCLUDE**:

- Minimum of one-year experience in a food & beverage environment.
- Previous experience in a Starbucks or similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both official languages (English and French).
- Outgoing, strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Superior service excellence skills to exceed guest expectations.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Competence in handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Able to work a flexible schedule (days, evening, weekends/weekdays and holidays).
- Previous experience with point of sale systems (Micros)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds)
- Strong attention to detail.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.67 per hour
