**Your roles and responsibilities will include**:
- Processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner to meet monthly deadlines
- Billing maintenance staff hours
- Rent collection and accounts receivable including follow up on overdue accounts
- Preparation and reconciliation of deposits and electronic payments
- Create tenant rent receipts on request
- Explain rental property income, expenses and cash flow to property owners
- Account set up for new management clients
- Closing of lease financials at the end of tenancy
- Communication with tenants and property owners
- Maintain physical and computerized filing system
- 1+ years of Bookkeeping / Accounting experience with a small / medium sized company;
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration;
- Possess strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles;
- 1+ years of experience with QuickBooks software, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Dropbox
- Self-starter with experience working independently and in a collaborative environment;
- Superior organizational skills; ability to anticipate needs within the accounting cycle, prioritize and multitask among competing demands
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Team player

This is a full time position (40hr per week) Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
