**Sales Assistant (Part-Time, 30 hrs/week — 5 hrs/day × 6 days)** Location: Brantford, ON Start: ASAP Schedule: 5 hours/day, 6 days/week (weekends required) About Us We operate four growing businesses: - Blushing Greens / True North Peppers - hot peppers & specialty horticulture - True North Disc Golf & Pickleball - retail/wholesale sporting goods - True North Vapor - vape retail & wholesale distribution (19+ environment) - Max’s Production Studio - media & production services The Role We’re hiring a Sales Assistant to support front-line sales across brands: answer inquiries, book sessions/orders, keep displays accurate, and run light outbound (including cold calling) to book appointments and open/expand accounts. What you’ll do - Appointment setting: book studio sessions, take deposits, confirm day-of details; schedule wholesale calls/demos. - Cold calling & follow-ups: daily call blocks to past leads/local businesses; log notes in a simple CRM/sheet; send CASL-compliant follow-ups. - Merch & inventory: tidy displays, restock, quick cycle counts; flag low stock. - Order support: prepare/pack small orders; accuracy > speed. - Light content support: quick product clips/photos for socials when needed. - Cross-brand flexibility: peppers/seedlings advice, basic disc/pickleball guidance, vape compliance (ID checks, 19+). - Admin basics: maintain clean records, issue receipts, simple reports on calls, bookings, and sales. What you bring - 1+ year retail/front desk or inside-sales support (you’re comfortable on the phone and in person). - Clear communication, organized, reliable; can juggle multiple brands without dropping balls. - Weekend availability; able to lift 35-40 lb occasionally. Valid driver’s licence is an asset. Nice to have - Experience with wholesale/B2B or appointment setting. - Basic content capture/editing and/or studio/event familiarity.
