Since 1996, Trees Organic Coffee company has been doing things differently to keep coffee traditional. The original store that started it all off is located in Vancouver’s downtown core at 450 Granville Street.

In addition to the coffee, Trees has become well known in Vancouver for cheesecake. Using a special recipe that produces a light and flavourful cheesecake, served in a variety of flavors. Trees cheesecakes are sold by the slice, or whole, in two sizes.

We are looking for the right person to work 20 to 40 hours per week at 4112 Lougheed highway Location.

Hours and days may vary.

**Required Experience and Qualifications**:

- Must have 1 year of barista and shift leader/ supervisor experience and customer service.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- General responsibility for running a shift to Trees’ standards
- Ensures the well being and safety of customers and staff
- Customer service:

- Greet customers and provide an offer of service
- Use point of sale system to ring up orders
- Process cash, debit, credit and gift card transactions
- Prepare food and beverage orders
- Provide assistance with wholesale purchases
- Ensures the restaurant is continually meeting production demands and standards for food quality and service experience, while meeting financial targets
- Assigns staff duties and break schedule during shifts
- Ability to open and close the restaurant efficiently.
- Cash management and banking functions
- Ordering supplies
- Assists with staff scheduling
- Assists with office duties
- Completes various tasks dependent on ability, seniority and division of tasks
- Trains and coaches new staff as directed by Store Manager
- Handling of customer concerns. Defers serious customer concerns to Store Manager (ie: food poisoning complaints).
- Provide motivation and support to staff members
- Ensures completion of shift responsibilities with respect to cleaning, stocking and equipment maintenance

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
