**Job description**

**Party City is currently hiring for both Permanent and Temporary positions.**

**We have 5 Temporary Cashier positions available for the Halloween season.**:

- This duties of this position include, but is not limited to_:

- Handling Cash and Credit Machines
- Checking out guests purchases
- Maintaining the front counter area
- Putting out freight on shelves
- Organizing shelves and fixtures
- Fulfilling Balloon Orders for Guests
- Making Balloon Bouquets
- General Cleaning and Organization of the store

**We also have 10 Temporary Customer Service Positions Available for the Halloween Season.**:

- The duties of this position include, but is not limited to: _
- Helping customers find products in the store
- Putting out freight on shelves
- Merchandising
- Taking out Trash
- General Cleaning and Organization of the store
- Helping customers with all of their Halloween needs including costumes and accessories.
- Maintaining the floor and putting items back where they belong
- Organizing Shelves and fixtures.

**Requirements for both Positions**:

- Basic Math and Typing Skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision with computerized systems
- Experience in a customer service role
- Ability to operate a cash register is an asset but not a necessity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders
- must be able to life at least 30lbs
- Must be able to handle latex balloons
- Must have own transportation - some shifts begin before, or end after public transit finishes operating for the day.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
