**Role description**

Arcadis is seeking a Region Manager for Alberta to join our Resilience team. This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with occasional travel required for project-related meetings.

As a Region Manager, you will lead initiatives that tackle critical environmental challenges, from addressing the effects of climate change to preserving biodiversity. You will collaborate with and mentor a team dedicated to professional growth, while ensuring the successful delivery of environmental projects that help communities adapt and thrive. You will draw upon your expertise in sectors such as oil and gas, mining, power, water, and infrastructure, guiding complex projects for Arcadis’ clients.

**Role accountabilities**

This position requires professional leadership, expertise in environmental consulting, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. You will play a key role in advancing Arcadis’ capabilities in Alberta. Your responsibilities include:

- Leading the delivery of multidisciplinary environmental projects to ensure they meet client expectations and advance the objectives of the Resilience team.
- Mentoring a team, managing resource pools, supporting career progression, and fostering a culture of innovation in environmental solutions.
- Directing the implementation of systems and process improvements to enhance project outcomes and sustainability practices.
- Building strategic relationships with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice to help meet environmental goals and compliance requirements.
- Conducting detailed project reviews on high-impact, high-value initiatives, ensuring risks are mitigated and environmental standards are met.
- Championing the integration of Arcadis global resources, fostering collaboration and innovation across teams.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.), and/or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) designation in Alberta, or equivalent professional status; a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
- More than 15 years of professional experience, including over 8 years in consultancy roles focused on environmental projects.
- Leadership in designing and executing field programs, data analysis, and report-writing that drive sustainable outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental compliance regulations and experience managing projects across sectors.
- Exceptional people management skills, fostering collaboration and empowering teams to deliver transformative environmental solutions.
- Strong communication and strategic planning abilities, with flexibility to travel as required for site visits and stakeholder engagement.

The salary range for this position is $114,000-212,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
