**You have**:
- A University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., communications, journalism, public relations, political science) or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, including event organization and development of communication strategies.
- An in-depth understanding of internal communication strategy and public relations.
- An enhanced knowledge of IDRC, its activities, and the environment in which it operates.
**You are**:
- A skilled communicator and a team player with great interpersonal skills.
- Able to perform research related tasks.
- Great at managing projects and have excellent organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Qualified to establish, manage, and monitor relationships with diverse and experienced stakeholders.
**You are interested in**:
- Leading and managing high visibility outreach and liaison activities with important stakeholders.
- Managing public events, public information requests, parliamentary returns and liaison with government departments and agencies, as well as program related activities.
- Contributing to the development, production, and dissemination of high-visibility corporate communications materials.
- Preparing, organizing, and delivering presentations on IDRC tailored to different audiences.
- Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.

- Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (Minimum 3 days out of 10 in the office).
