1 Temporary Full-time Housekeeping Worker

**Position Information**:
- Ability to read and write in the English language
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Physically able to perform the normal duties of the job, which includes:
- Mopping of floors and vacuuming
- Bending lifting, walking throughout shift
- Wiping fixtures, cleaning washrooms, cleaning in patient care areas
- Effective and safe operation of floor care machinery including burnishers, automatic floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners
- Must be able to prioritize, organize, perform and complete job responsibilities in a self-directed manner
- Must be customer-focused
- Satisfactory performance appraisals and attendance records in present position
- Commitment to providing Service Excellence
- Ability to interact positively and work as a team member within own department and with other hospital departmental personnel
- Ability to handle stress and adapt to position demands
- Sensitivity to patient and staff requirements
- Must have and provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization (2 or more doses)
